BodyBlock is made of polyurethane with in a disinfectable skin and is CE marked. The most practical way a bodyblock can be cleaned is with surface medical disinfectant sprays or clinic wipes but it can also be autoclaved or put in the dishwasher. It’s so light it floats like a cork, weighing only 300g, yet robust enough to elevate the heaviest limbs.
BodyBlocks are commonly found in various healthcare and sports-related settings, including podiatry clinics, physiotherapy clinics, sports therapists' offices, and ambulances. Additionally, they are utilized by rugby clubs, football clubs, sports clubs, and paramedics across different contexts.
Storage: Avoid exposure to long periods of direct sunlight as Polyurethane is not UV stable and may result in deterioration and fading of the coating.
Avoid storing in visiting cases with sharp or abrasive objects to avoid damage. Avoid using on abrasive surfaces which will wear corners.
Cleaning: Avoid abrasive agents such as scourers or scrubbing brushes which may damage the coating.
Avoid solvents, acetone and alcohol which will damage the coating. Clean heavy soiling with a non-abrasive cloth, detergent and water before decontamination.
